BACKSTORY
Wanting a designer
The team at Hevya healthcare wanted to create an MVP to launch for the Indonesian market.
That being said, they were not sure of what exactly is to be made and required help in prioritizing the workflow.
I worked as a freelance designer to help them bring their vision to reality. They had an idea, of looking to create a app that helps users with teleconsultation along with helping them maintain their fitness levels.

Creating a wellness and fitness health app for Indonesian market.
OBJECTIVE
Need of Minimum Viable Product
They wanted me to create the MVP for the investors pitch. And along with the designs, have it prototyped so that they could let the investors experience the business potential.

SECONDARY STUDY
Soaking in all the Additional Information
Healthcare Industry in Indonesia
The Indonesian corporate telehealth market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.3% from 2022 to 2029, reaching USD 10,180.06 thousand by 2029. Growth is driven by improved healthcare quality, rising chronic diseases, and a shortage of medical staff.
Telehealth uses technology for real-time health data and long-distance health education, meeting increasing demand due to internet use and a shift towards healthier lifestyles. Services like telephonic/video consultations save time and reduce travel costs.

App Inspirations
As a designer in India, I looked for the Indian apps in the similar domain. This led me to look for Apollo 24/7, Practo, Healthians, PharmaEasy, Tata1mg, Health Tracker, Homeworkout, HealtifyMe. These apps made me understand the landscape as to what is the current trends in the telemedicine apps.
Digital Health Users in Indoneasia
Total number of digital health users in Indonesia from 2017 to 2028, by segment(in millions) will increase from 22.68 to 68.29, that is a whopping 201% increase in the number of users.

FEATURES
MVP Requirements
This part involved a lot of brainstorming amongst the founders, devs and me to see what works the best for the MVP. Had to cut down things that are good but not for this phase.
Onboarding process (Medical KYC)
The onboarding would help with the calculation of health stats and goals that would come handy once the user has started using the apps. Things like, height, weight would allow for the app to calculate the BMI, health score that will help users push themselves to be better.
Personal mood Assessment along with overall office mood (Homepage)
The Mood assessment checker was a two-fold feature that would help the user be in check of their mood and if they aren’t feeling good for a couple of days, then suggest them to take a consultation with the experts. But at the same time, also allow the users to see what is the overall office mood during the week. This will be a motivator for them to enter their mood details.
Office wellness movement (Homepage)
This was an interesting part of the app. These were easy to follow exercise that the office goers could do in their workspace. It will also allow them to earn points that can be later redeemed.
Health reports (Insights)
Based on the details gathered during the onboarding stage, these health reports or rather cards would allow for the users to see what part of body needs to be taken care of.

METHODOLOGY
Various Steps
This project involved creating app flow, wireframes, user interface and a working prototype.
ITERATIONS
Designer's Cut
FINAL OUTCOME
The MVP
The initial timeline was of 2 weeks however, due to frequent design changes as per feedback and new feature requests, it got delayed and the final delivery was done within 4 weeks of starting the project.
The final designs are in development process to be launched soon in Indonesia.
LEARNINGS
Reflections from the project
Prompt Communication & Setting Contract
This project was fairly a standard MVP project. However, few things that could have gone well
Keeping the founders in loop more often. I used to inform them about the current updated in every 2/3 days. Which could have been improved and brought down to each day so that they are aware of the daily progress and not be in dark as to how much work has been done.
Keeping the contract handy. Since this project was done in partnership (friends of friends), I didn't get into a formal contract and thus when the scope of work increased, as decided from the earlier, I had to ask for additional payment for my work.
